May 12, 2019 Nightgate Inn can now be chosen by the game as a possible place for Sam to show up for A Night To Remember. From the depths of the ether, or just the cutting room floor, comes forth several NPCs, some quests, and other miscellaneous content which was created but never implemented in the game. If ever you had the feeling that Skyrim was.

The Nightgate Inn in the Pale caters to travelers along the main road between Dawnstar and Windhelm. Stop in for a meal, a drink or an overnight rest today. Location: 3/5The inn is located just off the main thoroughfare to the west of Windhelm and southeast of Dawnstar. It is proximate to a little lake with a fishing pier (though how much fishing is done in the bleak environs of the inn's local I couldn't say). Atmosphere: 2/5Typical for the region, the inn consists of a large drinking hall with a few smaller rooms connected rooms for rent. The hall is sparsely furnished (likely owing to the lack of customers).
There's no bard or other entertainment making the environment inside the inn almost as desolate as outside, but a warm fire burns in the pit and as a customer named Fultheim said when we spoke 'where else would one go to drink?' Wares: 3/5The food was of average quality, maybe slightly lower but still acceptable. The real draw of the tavern is it's excellent wine cellar. Large and well stocked the cellar boasts enough wine to besot a battalion of soldiers should the need arise, and all kept perfectly chilled by the cold weather outside. Service: 3/5The only employee of the inn is the owner (a sturdy nord named Hadring) standing behind the bar who, while being friendly enough, does not offer table service nor bar seating. Amenities: 2/5The modest room I rented for the standard payment of 10g felt cramped, even though it contained only a few pieces of furniture.
The rough bed was cold and the bare wooden chair left me with a splinter in my posterior. It was better than sleeping outside in the snow but I wouldn't want to make an extended visit. Final Score: 13/25A serviceable inn but seemingly overconfident in the fact that travelers have little choice other than to patronize. Requisite amenities offered with minimum comfort to be found. I've not done video before but I could I suppose. One thing I prefer about text over video is that it allows the reader to personify the writing in their own mind.
I could be a man or a woman, an orc or a altmer; it's all up to the reader who often doesn't even realize they're making those choices. Voice over kills that bit of magic. I recognize however that in today's world people prefer youtube vids over articles so I may compromise.Let me finish doing all the reviews and think on it.
