Isn't that a fairly ridiculous expectation? An hmd is a display that renders in sbs format.

It's not a console. Would you be surprised if your new lg monitor didn't support your old games? But the same games ran fine on a comparable samsung display? What about if your 3 year old games stopped working on your new graphics card?I don't blame the developers of the game, i blame oculus and their closed sdk.

Vive is an open format, but oculus are the ones being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trying to score exclusives on a ♥♥♥♥ing pc peripheral. Pc users are traditionally able to buy whatever peripherals they want. If oculus wants to start this closed format crap, they should take it to Apple where that BS belongs. That's a problem. You don't just plug in VR and it works.

VR isn't a monitor. The game needs to be designed from the ground up to work with in. They can retroactivaly put it in, but this game is not being patched anymore.

I also have been a professional programmer for over a decade, and built and upgraded more PCs and media centers than i can count.Yes.a HMD is just a monitor, the game works in VR with 3rd party software, games do not need to be built from the ground up for VR (I've played plenty using said software), and in fact this game was already built for it (i played it and it still works with oculus). The OP started this thread to request vive support almost a year ago because it was already known the game is no longer being patched. It didn't work obviously, so not only are you wrong, you're very late to the party. So if you're not here because you were searching for a way to make it work, why did you even click the link?

DescriptionFairytale Fights is a truly twisted hack’n’slash platform adventure where players assume the role of a much-loved fairytale character, whose glory days have long since passed. Fairytale fights xbox one. While embarking on a seemingly innocent journey to save a colorful fantasy world from certain disaster, players traverse a series of colourful and enthralling levels filled to the brim with action-packed combat and fairytale-style storylines. Luckily, many different weapons lay strewn throughout the fairytale kingdom, which players can use to slice and dice their way through swathes of cute fluffy bunnies and imposing enemies.

Do you even have a HMD?!Cool, thanks for agreeing with me on every points.1. Games do not need to be built from the ground up for VR (I've played plenty using said software), and in fact this game was already built for it (i played it and it still works with oculus).Yes, but not vive2.
